Memories like autumn leaves
Fall across my heart
As night draws in I think of you
Though our roads are now apart
Roses closed the future grey
The streets are cold and dark
The constant cycle finally ends
What happened to the spark?
Cups be filled with Nachash's tears
and I of eve cannot compare
Validity for strength and awe
Was not enough
You needed more
I sympathise your internal pain
I see now how you play the game
A loathing deep and full of sorrow
Won't change today nor on the morrow
And before the night is done
The intricate tapestry
Shall come undone
Breeze away to dawning day
For strength lies in these words I say
And though I say our last goodbye
I look towards the moonlit skies
How quickly the stars they glance
At natures feats how they can dance
Slip silently back from whence you came
The thoughts once made me feel insane
Your lack of love has built a fort
No man nor woman shall future thwart
Find purpose in your journey be
and remember how you could never see
The beauty that once drew to me
