What to expect
I work with the subconcious in the language of the subconcious, through a variety of transformational teachings tailored to the individuals needs. Aspects will include identifying unconscious core beliefs, Parts work and resolving emotional triggers from the past. Session one I will educate my clients on what unconcious belief systems are and identify the correct modality for what they are wanting to change. This is not talk therapy.

For trauma to be resolved, 2 things need to happen*

-
The person must be moved to an empowered position in regard to the trauma and
-
The body and the mind must know that the event / events are over.

What is Resource Therapy
Resource therapy uses the idea of neuroplasticity, in that we can rewire the brain through emotional processing. Resource therapy is an elegant non traumatising and powerful modality because it enables individuals dissociate from past trauma and address issues from a calm, confident mindset. It focuses on the specific part of the personality that needs assistance, labeling the misunderstood part without labeling the person. This approach empowers individuals to understand and integrate all aspects of themselves, preventing them from getting stuck in a helpless state and allowing them to move through their emotional triggers.

What is The Richards Trauma Process?
The Richards Trauma Process or TRTP is an emotional release therapy.
Judith Richards, creator of TRTP, explains it here.

What is Creative & Play Therapy
While traditionally associated with children, Play Therapy is increasingly recognised as a powerful tool for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and emotional blocks. Research in neurophysiology and molecular biology supports the use of creative and sensory-based therapies to help regulate the nervous system, access subconscious memories, and process experiences in a safe, embodied way.

Play connects us to our inner child — the part of us that knew how to wonder, imagine, create, and express without overthinking. For many adults, especially those navigating perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety or suppressed emotions, playful expression offers a doorway to reconnect with authenticity and joy.

Through body play, creative storytelling, improvisation, fantasy play, sandplay, and symbolic expression, participants explore themes such as:
-
Emotional regulation
-
Self-trust and inner safety
-
Releasing judgement and people-pleasing
-
Rewriting internal narratives
-
Grief, trauma, and arrested emotional development
Play fosters adaptive behaviours including creativity, role rehearsal, and mind-body integration — all without needing to “perform” or “get it right.” The space is invitational, not instructional. Messiness is encouraged. Laughter is welcome. Stillness is honoured.
You don’t have to be “creative” to benefit from this work.
You just need a willingness to show up, stay curious, and let your inner child come out to play.
-
Let go of outcomes. Let in joy.

“Play therapy approaches often create a sense of safety from which some adults may be more comfortable approaching threatening issues or topics.”

The TRTP Process
Based in Gestalt, Mindfulness, Ego-state Therapy, Choice Therapy, Parts Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dream Rehearsal Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Anxiety, depression, anger, OCD, phobias and addictions for example are usually trauma related. Events from one’s childhood have not been able to be coded in the brain’s warehouse of events from the short term to the long-term memory.
