Liquid gold
Like the sun, rising in molton lava
It ebbed and flowed from her
Rising from the ground
Gnawing, clawing gritted teeth
Shone, glimmering in moonlight
Head turned to the sea she grinned a wild smile,
No longer yearned for jabberwocky
Face pale in the moonlight
Pitied look across the sea
Where is the fawn prince now
It's antlers never dawned from spring
As winter swept up it's innocence
How quietly it skulks and creeps
Hibernating from autumns seas
And now peeled back so joyfully
We dance through shadowed trees
And now gulls cry
I let it be
And finally I rest
